David Neyens of Motorcopia joins Brett Hatfield and Mark L. Groves on the Driven Radio Show for a lively conversation about Vanfest, denim-lined custom vans, the COPING Centre Corvette Raffle, the SOLD seller toolkit, Concours d’LeMons, and the people, stories, and causes that make car culture worth following.
I had a wonderful time joining Brett Hatfield and Mark L. Groves on the latest Driven Radio Show for a conversation that reminded me why I love this hobby so much. We covered a lot of ground, including the 29th annual Vanfest, denim-lined custom vans, Christmas in June, the COPING Centre, my new SOLD Classic & Collector-Vehicle Sellers’ toolkit, birthdays, anniversaries, and even the glorious oddball spirit of the upcoming Concours d’LeMons during Monterey Car Week..

What made the episode so enjoyable was the easy back-and-forth. It was fun, mostly unscripted, and full of the kinds of stories that make car culture feel alive. Yes, Motorcopia spends plenty of time looking at values, market trends, auction results, and seller strategy. But special cars are never just numbers. They connect us to the people, places, memories, causes, and communities that make life interesting.
This episode gave me a chance to talk about that bigger picture: why events like Vanfest matter, why the COPING Centre 2026 Corvette Raffle deserves attention, why families and non-car people need better guidance before selling a collector vehicle, and why there is always room in this hobby for both serious insight and wonderfully strange machines.
