Sixty years after it redrew the boundaries of what a road car could be, the Lamborghini Miura is getting the birthday party it deserves – and the setting is unprecedented. On Sunday, August 16, 2026, more than 40 Miuras, the largest gathering of the marque’s first supercar ever assembled, will take over the 3rd Fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links during the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It marks the first time in Concours history that the fairway has been opened for a featured display – and remarkably, it will be open to the public. Motorcopia will be on the ground at Pebble Beach; here’s what makes this one-day celebration a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime event.
Any public appearance of a Lamborghini Miura is certainly a significant occasion to any sports-car enthusiast with a pulse, but in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Miura, Automobili Lamborghini will showcase the largest gathering of them ever assembled anywhere in the world at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
On Sunday, August 16, Lamborghini will use the 3rd Fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, a location that, for the first time in the history of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, will be opened for a featured activation. Best of all, this landmark display will be open to the public, offering collectors, enthusiasts, and visitors the opportunity to experience one of the rarest moments in automotive history.
While we had heard that this special 60th anniversary Miura display was coming, the press release that landed in our email inbox made us even more glad that we managed to secure inexpensive accommodations and surprisingly affordable (but long) flights in order to attend the world-famous Monterey Car Week events and festivities.
This once-in-a-lifetime display of over 40 Miuras – reportedly the largest gathering of Lamborghini’s first – and arguably most iconic supercar – will transform Pebble Beach’s famed 3rd fairway into a living tribute to the car that forever changed the automotive world at introduction. It should be noted that this unprecedented gathering is made possible through the dedication of Lamborghini Club USA and the undying passion of its members.

When Lamborghini unveiled the Miura in 1966, it challenged every convention of what an elite-level, limited-production road car could be. Its groundbreaking mid-engine architecture, potent V-12 power plant, dramatic proportions, and unmistakable Marcello Gandini design transformed automotive engineering into rolling sculpture. More than simply introducing breathtaking performance, the Miura created an entirely new category of automobile, the modern supercar. Unique in every possible respect, the Miura’s name is equally bold, inspired by the legendary Spanish fighting bulls bred at the Ganaderia Miura in the Spanish province of Seville in Andalucia.
