The 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance drew 223 vehicles across 29 classes and crossed $50 million in cumulative charitable giving — a milestone reached in the final year under longtime Chairman Sandra Button, who is succeeded by Vince Finaldi. Entries spanned from a two-cylinder 1902 Packard Model G to a 2018 Le Mans-winning Toyota TS050 Hybrid. Best of Show went to Harry Yeaggy’s 1935 Duesenberg SSJ, once owned by Clark Gable, shown alongside its sister car for the occasion. Runners-up included a Delahaye 165, a Ferrari 375 MM, and a Ferrari 375 America — with Italy’s coachbuilding legacy, from Pinin Farina to Vignale, a running thread across several of this year’s classes.
Having been fortunate enough to attend Monterey, California’s world-famous Car Week several times over the past decade, I still find it difficult to comprehend that so many of the greatest and most influential automobiles ever produced, plus their owners, restorers, and handlers congregate each year for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This year officially marked the 75th edition of this wonderful event, which hosted a staggering 223 vehicles, by my count from the detailed Car Guide compiled and published by the event organizers.
Participants, organizers, and attendees from dozens of countries and walks of life, all sharing their common interest in automobiles and automotive culture, collectively make the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance the world’s premier event of its kind. In addition to embodying a clearly shared passion, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has also carried an exceptional spirit of community service. In 2026, the Concours reached an important milestone, with the event achieving more than $50 million in cumulative charitable donations.
This year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance marked another milestone as the last edition held under the leadership of Concours Chairman Sandra Button, who is retiring this fall from her post after joining Glenn Mounger as Co-Chairman in 2002. Replacing Sandra is Vince Finaldi, who joined the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as the organization’s President in January 2026.
Among the 29 featured classes populating this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, entries spanned the depth and breadth of automotive history, beginning with a two-cylinder 1902 Packard Model G – the sole survivor of an estimated four produced and one of the earliest examples from one of America’s most famous luxury marques. The latest-model entry was a technical masterpiece steeped in racing glory – the No. 8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid Le Mans Coupe that scored overall victory in a stunning 1-2 win for Toyota Gazoo Racing at the 2018 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This year’s Best of Show award went to the 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Special Speedster of Harry Yeaggy. One of just two examples produced and originally owned by Hollywood legend Clark Gable, this SSJ was recently restored to its original appearance and crossed the Concours stage with its counterpart, once owned by screen icon Gary Cooper.
Runners-up for Best of Show honors included a stunning 1938 Delahaye 165 Figoni et Falaschi Cabriolet shown by The Pearl Collection, Baar, Switzerland, plus a 1955 Ferrari 375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta from the Heinecke Family Collection, Bangkok, Thailand, and the singular 1954 Ferrari 375 America Vignale Cabriolet exhibited by the RQ Collections from The Woodlands, Texas.
In addition to the two Best of Show runners-up from Ferrari, Italy’s renowned design, engineering, and coachbuilding heritage was celebrated with several well-populated classes, rich with many of the finest and most stylish body designs from Pinin Farina (later Pininfarina) and Carrozzeria Vignale. Beginning in alphanumeric order, Class M1, Ferrari Competition: Chinetti/NART, honored Luigi Chinetti, Enzo Ferrari’s close friend, original American Ferrari importer, and Ferrari’s 1949 Le Mans-winning driver. The other Ferrari-exclusive classes included M2: Ferrari Competition, M3: Ferrari Grand Touring, M4: Ferrari Vignale, and Class N celebrating Vignale-bodied cars.
